Progressive just announced that it will now cover up to $1000 worth of vet bills if a pet is injured while boating. Progressive already covers vet bills for pets injured in car accidents under its collision coverage.
Note that the coverage is extended only to dogs and cats. No word on if driving pets themselves are covered, or only pet passengers.
