Ezra Fox is the first place winner of OOTS News’s Bad Weather Writing Contest, with this short, wonderfully overwrought story of bad weather and failed romance (read the runners-up here):
Ezra Fox, Hurricane of Love
The approaching hurricane was like Reginald’s love, thought Samantha.
It was wet, powerful, fast, hard, deadly, contained an unknown quantity of wood, and came without warning.
Reginald’s love, meanwhile, was much like the hurricane in that it sucked.
